Current Information
Dear visitors,
currently, the MK&G redesigns its reception area. Important: The entrance will be temporarily relocated to Julius-Kobler-Weg on the opposite side of the building, facing the city centre and rail tracks. All exhibitions and collection areas as well as the Freiraum, the shop, the library, the restaurant and the Kid's World will remain open during the reconstruction phase. The new foyer will open in spring 2023.
Construction work will take place on the 1st floor in 2023, which will require the partial closure of the East Asia Collection presentation from time to time. Please feel free to contact us if you are planning a visit, and we will be able to give you specific information about which rooms will be affected.
Due to conservation work, the Blohmzimmer ("Porcelain in the Baroque") on the ground floor is temporarily not accessible.
For further information, please refer to our visitor regulations.
We look forward to your visit!
