Skyphos "Attischer Form" (A: zwei Frauen an einem Grabaltar | B: zwei Manteljünglinge)

Der großformatige Skyphos attischer Form zeigt auf Seite A zwei Frauen an einem Grabaltar. Die links stehende Frau in gegürtetem Chiton mit je einer Gewandnadel auf der Schulter, Schuhen mit gelber Zier, weißem Kekryphalos und Raffbändchen in den Haaren hat den rechten Arm gesenkt. Von der Hand hängt eine Binde (griech. Tänie) herab. In der erhobenen Linken hält sie einen Spiegel.
Die zweite Frau sitzt auf einem Felsengebilde nach links. Auch sie ist mit einem gegürteten Chiton bekleidet und hat die zum Lampadion frisierten Haare mit einem Kekryphalos zusammengefasst. Ihre linke Hand ruht auf dem Felsen, auf der vorgehaltenen Rechten hält sie ein Kästchen (Cista). Zwischen den Frauen steht ein rechteckiger Grabaltar. Über der Cista und hinter dem Kopf der sitzenden Frau befindet sich jeweils eine Binde mit weißen Säumen und Bändchen.
Seite B zeigt zwei einander zugewandte Manteljünglinge mit gelber Binde mit Punkten darüber und weißem Raffbändchen. Zwischen ihnen ist in Kopfhöhe ein Fenster mit weißen Rahmen eingefügt.
