Eimer dieser Art sind vor allem als Gefäße für Wein und Wasser benutzt worden. Dieses Gefäß steht auf einem gerippten Fuß. Der Bügelhenkel mit Schleife dient dem Tragen und Aufhängen; er sitzt in Ösen, deren Attaschen die Form von Sirenenprotomen mit Schulterlocken, Hakenflügeln und Vogelschwanz haben.
