Die Rückseite (Revers) weist neben dem dominaten Wertzeichen K (20) mit einem aufgesetzten Kreuz die Inschriften ANNO links und XIII rechts auf. Die Münze wurde demnach im 13. Regierungsjahr des Kaisers geprägt.
Lediglich Iustinian I. (reg. 527-565 n. Chr.) und Iustin II. (reg. 565-578 n. Chr.) kommen aufgrund der Kombination des Regierungsjahres und der erhaltenen Reste des Namens auf dem Avers als Kaiser in Frage.
