Die Kanne mit hohem Schnabelausguss kann aufgrund ihrer Form und Dekoration der Periode Frühminoisch II A zugeordnet werden. Der ausladende, auf halber Höhe gering geknickte Gefäßkörper weist in der unteren Hälfte fünf horizontale Bänder auf, die teilweise von drei sternförmig vom Halsansatz ausgehenden Winkelhaken mit gegeneinander gestellten Schraffurmustern überschnitten werden. In der Henkelzone wird das Ornament variiert.
Das Gefäß wurde ungefähr 60 km von Vasiliki an der Südküste Kretas gefunden. Unweit des Dorfes Vianni war es auf einem Acker unterhalb der Straße und einem Hügel mit zahlreichen weiteren minoischen Scherben, einem menschlichen Schädel, Hundeknochen und zerfallenden Resten von weich gebrannter schwarzer Keramik vergesellschaftet. Der Fundplatz liegt ca. 50 m über dem Meeresspiegel.
