Die mit Ösen – erhalten sind noch zwei – auf einem Gewand oder Diadem anzubringende Applik zeigt einen nach rechts ausschreitenden nackten Eros. Den Kopf zur Seite gedreht hält er in seiner vorgestreckten Linken eine Kithara, in der zurückgeführten Rechten ein Plektron zum Schlagen der Saiten.
Er bildete wohl zusammen mit den Eroten Inv. 1917.202, 1917.207 und 1925.178 eine Einheit. Das Motiv der theaterspielenden und possenreißenden Eroten war im Hellenismus beliebt und ist auch in der römischen Kunst zu verfolgen.
