Oinochoe Form III (Laufende Frau - Teil eines Thiasos)

Die Oinochoe zeigt eine nach rechts laufende, sich umblickende Frauenfigur in gegürtetem Chiton und Schuhen mit weißer Zier. Frisiert ist sie mit einem Lampadion und in der zurückgewandten rechten Hand hält sie eine Schale. Der linke Arm ist ausgestreckt. Links neben ihr ist ein Ball mit Doppelstrichmuster und Punkten abgebildet.
Das Bildfeld ist seitlich durch einen tongrundigen Balken eingerahmt und oberhalb ist ebenfalls ein tongrundiger Rahmen mit einem nach rechts geneigten Wellenband zu erkennen. Der Henkel, die Außenseite und die Mündung sind gefirnisst und die Innenwandung ist tongrundig.
Das Vasenbild gibt den Auszug einer mehrfigurigen Thiasos-Szene wieder, die wie häufig bei kleinformatigen Gefäßen auf eine Figur beschränkt wird. Der zurückgewandte Kopf der laufenden Frau wird nur dann verständlich, wenn man eine hinter ihr befindliche, zweite Figur annimmt, zu der sie sich umwendet.
