Ghiyath al-din Muhammad Khalili war ein berühmter Kalligraph am Hof der Safawiden-Herrscher. Seine Koranhandschriften wurden wiederholt vom iranischen Schah Tahmasp an den osmanischen Sultan geschenkt.
