Das kleine Glasfragment zeigt auf blauem Grund Blüten in Millefiori-Technik, die voneinander durch ein Gitternetz aus feinen weißen Linien getrennt sind, das an Bienenwaben erinnert. Um einen weißen Kern legen sich ein gelber und ein weißer Ring, zwischen denen gelbe Punkte die Blütenblätter angeben.
In römischer Zeit verwendete man farbiges, ornamentiertes Glas für Gefäße, Mosaike, Wanddekorationen und Möbelverzierungen.
