Das kleine Glasfragment zeigt auf dunkelviolettem Grund mehrere Blüten in Millefiori-Technik. Sie sind durch ein Gitternetz aus weißen Linien voneinander abgegrenzt, das an Bienenwaben erinnert. Einige der Ornamente bestehen aus einem gelben Punkt mit weißer Kontur, um den sich eine doppelte Reihe aus gelben Punkten legt. Andere bestehen aus einem gelben Kreis, um den sich eine grün-transparente Spirale entwindet.
In römischer Zeit verwendete man farbiges, ornamentiertes Glas für Gefäße, Mosaike, Wanddekorationen und Möbelverzierungen.
