Im Oktober 1908 erschien in Paris ein annähernd quadratisches Buch in einfacher Kartonage gebunden, mit dem Titel "Les Robes de Paul Poiret". Der Katalog zeigt auf 10 Tafeln farbige Illustrationen elegant gekleideter Damen, mit denen der Haute Couturier Paul Poiret seine Modekollektion präsentiert. Die Illustrationen stammen von Paul Iribe und sind in Pochoirdrucktechnik über Strichätzung ausgeführt. Das Buch bedeutet nicht nur für die Modewelt eine Neuerung, sondern ebenso für den Kunststil, indem sich hier der Stil des Art Déco ankündigt.
