Dargestellt ist ein Pferdegespann in voller Fahrt nach rechts. Ein Wagenlenker in langem, ehemals weißen Chiton mit violettbraunem Haarkranz steht im Wagenkasten. Der Rennwagen wird von drei Pferden gezogen. Hinter den Pferden ist die auf den Wagenlenker zueilende Göttin Athena zu erkennen. Sie ist mit einem langen Chiton bekleidet; auf dem Kopf trägt sie einen Helm mit hohem Helmbusch. In den Händen hält sie einen Speer. Am Helm finden sich weiße Verzierungen, Gesicht und Beine waren weiß bemalt.
