Der kurzhalsige, stämmige Jüngling – offenbar mit Chiton und über die linke Schulter geworfenen Mantel bekleidet – ist nur in groben Zügen angelegt, was eine Lokalisierung und Datierung sehr erschwert. Besonders summarisch ist die Rückseite. Typologisch gehört das kleine Werk in den größeren Kreis ostionischer Mantelfiguren. An den Außenbahnen des Mantels sind geringe Reste roter Farbe erhalten.
