In sehr charakteristischer Weise konzentriert sich die Bemalung auf den Rändern außen auf wenige Figuren in der Mitte. Seite A zeigt zwei Hirsche und ein Reh. Auf Seite B ist eine Mänade zwischen zwei Silenen dargestellt.
Ungewöhnlich sind die unkanonische Form und Verschiedenheit der beiden Palmettenranken, die von den Henkelansätzen ausgehen. Auf der einen Seite sind es siebenblättrige, locker gefächerte Palmetten, auf der anderen fünfblättrige, engstehende mit Farbgebung in Rot und Schwarz.
Das Innenmedaillon zeigt einen Hirsch, der zu einem über ihm fliegenden Vogel emporschaut. Dieser hat einen Kranz im Schnabel.
