Das kleinformatige, sehr flache Relief zeigt ein nach links sitzendes Dromedar. Es handelt sich um eine einfache Arbeit und ist daher nur schwer zu datieren.
Bei dem aus der Sammlung des Hamburger Geographen Carl August Rathjens (1887-1966) stammenden Relief ist nicht endgültig gesichert, ob es sich um ein antikes Original handelt. Während seiner Forschungsreisen im Jemen, bei der Rathjens als einer der ersten Forscher auch die sabäische Kunst und Kultur untersuchte, erwarb er zahlreiche Objekte. Man bot ihm aber wohl auch Fälschungen an.
