Das querformatige Manuskript enthält Kompositionen mit Vokalmusik für Solostimme und Basso continuo des italienischen Musikers Orazio Michi (ca. 1594/95-1641). Der zeitgenössische Einband aus dunkelrotem Maroquinleder ist reich verziert mit vergoldeten Flächenornamenten im Fächerstil, die in Filigrantechnik auf Blattgold geprägt wurden. In der Mitte befindet sich ein Wappen, das einen Drachen auf drei Hügeln zeigt.
