Eine geringe Wölbung des Glasfragmentes erlaubt die Zuweisung zu einem Gefäß.
Die Oberfläche des türkisfarbenen Glases ist schräg angeschliffen, sodass die darunter liegende grüne Schicht an einem Rand sichtbar wird.
Aufgrund des aufwendigen Herstellungsprozesses und seiner Zerbrechlichkeit zählte Glas zu den Luxusartikeln der Antike.
