Fliegender Eros mit Kapuze

Der Eros scheint auf Zehenspitzen zu schweben. Der Oberkörper mit den Armen ist in ein Gewandstück gehüllt, das kapuzenartig über den Kopf gezogen ist. Der rechte Arm ist vor die Brust geführt, der linke greift den Rand des Mantels unter dem Kinn.
Der Unterkörper ist nackt bis auf die Schuhe, die gemalt waren. Die Flügel sind an der Spitze volutenartig eingerollt; ihre Ränder waren vergoldet. Nach den Spuren von Farbresten auf dem weißen Malgrund waren die Hautpartien rosa, die Lippen und die Sohlen der vielleicht beschuhten Füße rot und der Mantel rosa mit goldenem oder weißen Saum.
Diese Terrakotte ist dem Eros Inv. 1917.977 sehr ähnlich; eine Öse zwischen den Flügeln ermöglichte es, die Figur aufzuhängen.
