Diese Buntstiftzeichnung einer rothaarigen Figur in farbenfrohem Tanzkostüm stammt vermutlich aus der Jugendzeit der Künstlerin. Das geometrisch wie bei einem Harlekingewand gestaltete Oberteil und der weite, fransige rote Rock weisen bereits Elemente auf, die später in dem um 1920 geschaffenen "Toboggan"-Maskenkostüm wiederzufinden sind. Ebenso wiederholte sie später die Form der hohen braunen Stiefel, die hier zudem darauf hindeuten, dass es sich nicht um ein Kostüm für klassischen Balletttanz handeln sollte. (Athina Chadzis)
