Der gefütterte Denar des Kaisers Hadrian zeigt auf der Vorderseite (Avers) die Büste des Kaisers mit einem Lorbeerkranz nach recht. Es läuft die Titulatur des Kaisers HADRIANVS AVG(ustus) CO(n)S(ul) III P(ater) P(atriae) um.
Auf der Rückseite (Revers) ist die liegende Personifikation Ägyptens nach links dargestellt. Sie hält in ihrer rechten Hand ein Sistrum. Vor ihr steht links ein Ibis im Profil. Über dem Bild läuft die Beschriftung AEGYPTOS um.
