Die programmatische Schrift "Hand and Soul" von Dante Gabriel Rossetti hier vorliegend in einer bibliophilen Edition, gedruckt von der Ballantyne Press, verlegt von Hacon & Ricketts, London 1899. Die dekorativen Elemente des Buchdrucks, Initialen und Bordüren mit Weinlaubornamentik, sind von Charles Ricketts gestaltet. Das vorliegende Exemplar ist eines von 10 auf Pergament gedruckten Exemplaren einer Gesamtauflage von 220 Exemplaren, mit olivgrünem Handeinband aus Maroquin-Leder von Joseph William Zaehnsdorf. Vorder- und Rückseite des Ledereinbandes sind mit stilisierter Weinranke in Goldprägung ornamentiert, die Innenkanten ebenfalls mit Goldprägung, die Vorsatzblätter aus olivgrüner Seide.
