Die vorliegende englische Ausgabe "The Picture of Kebes the Theban being a translation of the only extant writing of Kebes, disciple of Philolaus and friend of Socrates", verlegt von der Essex House Press 1906, ist ein typisches Produkt der Arts & Crafts Bewegung.
