Die 1514 in Lyon gedruckte Bibel ist die vermutlich älteste in der Bibelsammlung des Museums. Bei dieser kleinformatigen und handlichen Ausgabe ist der Einband in Halbleder mit Holzdeckeln und Messingschließen nach historischen Vorbildern rekonstruiert. Der lateinische Text ist zweispaltig gesetzt in rundgotischer Schrift mit kolorierten Initialen. Bemerkenswert ist auch das Titelblatt in Rot- und Schwarzdruck, wobei der lange Titel in einer Spitzkolumne gesetzt ist, der trichterförmig auf das zentrale Bild zuläuft, das vermutlich als Druckersignet die beiden Apostel Petrus und Paulus mit dem Sudarium zeigt.
