Dieser Münztypus ist sehr selten und stammt aus dem Jahr 37 n. Chr. Der junge, gerade zum Kaiser erhobene Caligula nimmt unmittelbar Bezug auf den unter die Götter erhobenen Kaiser Augustus (reg. 29 v. Chr. bis 14 n. Chr.). Die Münze ist ein eindrucksvoller Beleg für die Verwendung der Münzen zur Verbreitung der kaiserlichen Propaganda.
