Aryballos (Kriegerzug)

Der flache Mündungsteller, kurze Hals und die runde Schulter weisen die Fragmente als Aryballos aus. Die kleinen kugelförmigen Gefäße dienten zur Aufbewahrung von Parfum und Salbölen, wurden von jungen Männern auch mit in die Palaistra zu sportlichen Übungen genommen und nach der Reinigung verwendet.
Den Körper dieses Gefäßes ziert ein umlaufender Kriegerzug nach links. Die Krieger weisen einen großen Rundschild, der den Körper verdeckt, eine Lanze und einen Helm auf. Oben und unten wird der Fries von einem Hakenband abgeschlossen.
