Das Service wurde 1957 von der Stiftung Hamburger Kunstsammlungen im Kunsthandel London für das MK&G erworben. Aufgrund ungeklärter Verlustumstände wurde es 2013 vom Museum bei Lost Art eingestellt (Lost Art-ID: 472413).
