Vom Kopf bis in die Zehenspitzen ist die männliche Gliederpuppe auf der Basis von Dürers Proportionsstudien dem Idealmaß des menschlichen Körpers entsprechend konstruiert. Wenn auch durch seine Kugelgelenke leicht überlängt, kann der bewegliche Gliedermann als Schönheitsideal oder auch "Prototyp" gelten. Zu feingliedrig, zu detailliert und zu kostspielig, um als Modell fürs Künstleratelier bestimmt gewesen zu sein, ist dieses Abbild des vollkommenen Menschen im Miniaturformat, der als besondere Auszeichnung einen Lorbeerkranz im Haar trägt, vielmehr ein Sammler- und Kunstkammerstück ersten Ranges.
