Summer special
Here, kids, you’re in for an adventure! Play, build, craft, dress up, design, explore and solve puzzles. And best of all: adults accompanying children pay a reduced admission fee of 10 euros. Children (under 18 years) always get in for free. This offer is valid until 30 August 2026.
Basement
Visit the Kids World: Be a tomato, slip into a crow-dragon costume, put on a play in front of the shadow wall, hide in the treehouse and find the marble track. Every Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm, it’s time to “sit more comfortably”: at the open family workshop in the vestibule, you can design your own cardboard stools and take them home with you. Only whilst supplies last (there may be waiting times during peak periods).
Ground Floor
The booklet “Tour für Kleine mit Großen” (available at the ticket counter): The owl tells you exciting stories and wants you to solve its puzzles. How about an unusual souvenir photo? Then head over to the photo booth! Need a break? You can relax in the open-plan area and enjoy the food and drink you’ve brought with you.
1st floor
In the exhibition “Mini Furniture” there are sooo many different chairs for children! You can try out some of them, build with foam tubes and design your own. In the exhibition “Inspiring SWANA” there’s a magnet game: show how creative you are and create your own patterns.
2nd floor
Things get magical at “Inspiring China” – using special ink and a thick brush, your drawings disappear shortly after you’ve made them. You can use stamps to create mysterious creatures.
