Lea Sievertsen, born 1990, works as a graphic designer with a focus on editorial design in Berlin. In 2020, she graduated from the HfbK Hamburg with a master's degree in fine arts. Previously, she studied at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle and at HAW Hamburg. Her award-winning works have been exhibited at the Kunstgewerbemuseum Dresden, the HfG Archive Ulm, the International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno (Czech Republic) and the Graphic Design Festival Scotland. Lea Sievertsen is part of the design initiative notamuse and co-editor of the publication of the same name (edited in 2019). This project is about the visibility of female graphic designers, historically as well as currently, asking questions about representation, current role models and feminist aspects in graphic design. Since May 2021, Lea Sievertsen has also been a lecturer for Typography/Editorial Design at HAW Hamburg.
