Ryan O’Neil, who also danced in "NAVY BLUE", presents "KETAMINE SOFA" in the Mirror Hall of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg. The performance was first created for Lothringer Halle 13 in Munich in 2019 and represents fractured memories of youth. Then, a group of Hamburg teenagers will dance "LAZARUS AND THE CONCRETE BIRDS OF PARADISE" in the courtyard of the MK&G. Originally conceived as a solo, this work was the final scene of "HOPE HUNT" (Summer Festival 2022) and the opening scene in "HARD TO BE SOFT", and is strongly characterized by Doherty’s unique dance language that has made her a star.

Oona Doherty (* 1986) has risen to fame with her intense movement language and works depicting a world breaking free from crisis. After receiving the Silver Lion at the 2021 Venice Biennale and premiering "NAVY BLUE" at the 2022 Summer Festival, the Northern Irish choreographer now presents performances across all six venues of Kunstmeile Hamburg. Showcasing her diverse artistic output that blends dance, theater, music, and art, Doherty connects previous works to each site, creating a choreographic dialogue with visual art: from feminist responses to Hans Makart's salon paintings in the Kunsthalle, to a duet engaging with Katharina Grosse’s expansive works at the Deichtorhallen, and a large-scale choreography at Kunstverein that closes the day.
