Join us on February 22, 2025, for a Majlis session with Mohsen Hazrati, a Berlin-based artist who blends Persian heritage with digital technologies. In this session, Mohsen will demonstrate how AI can transform objects from the SWANA collection, giving them relevance and new meanings. Digital avatars of the usually static and silent artifacts will become part of a ‘living conversation,’ inviting you to engage with them in new ways. Through this interactive process, you will have the opportunity to share your own stories, emotions and ideas, turning these objects into dynamic participants in dialogue. The workshop explores the idea of Divan-e-Ashya—a ‘collection of things’—encouraging you to contribute to this evolving collection by adding your own perspectives and interpretations, making the objects come alive.
Guest artist: Mohsen Hazrati is a Berlin-based artist whose work explores the intersection of literature and digital technologies. He is the winner of the VR ART Prize in Germany, and his projects have been showcased at major conferences, museums and exhibitions worldwide.
This Majlis session will be in English. Please register as the number of participants is limited: majlis@mkg-hamburg.de
