How can museums engage people with their collections online and better serve the needs of different communities?

Since 2020, the MK&G has been developing alternative ways into its digital collection within the international cooperation project NEO Collections. In collaboration with designers, data scientists and educators, the museum co-created a fellowship programme from which new ideas and concepts with a focus on accessibility, diversity, inclusion and participation have emerged. During the online event, the results will be presented by the fellows and we would like to discuss them together with the audience.

Why should you attend?

If you would like to peek behind the scenes of new museum practice
If you are interested in participatory and co-creative processes to make museum collections relevant to different users
If you would like to set up similar multidisciplinary fellowships that focus on building international networks, creating equitable access and developing new solutions
