An Installation atPlatz der Republik, Altona.

In cooperation with the STAMP Festival, glitter takes over public space in a performative installation. On July 5 and 6, "The Glitter Museum" by and with Sophia Bizer opens its museum doors at Platz der Republik in Altona. Pick out a sparkling outfit or accessory, step into the glittering one-person museum, and reorganize the collection if you like.

What exactly is glitter, and what makes it so fascinating? In what contexts does glitter play a role, and where does this shimmering material help shape identity? In a tiny space, a very special collection of found objects, stories, and memories is presented—one that can be expanded by visitors. The Glitter Museum offers a sense of intimacy and surprisingly museum-like conditions.
