Jewellery Journey is a young project which aims to promote exchange and networking between international makers of art jewellery and the presentation of jewellery art. A travelling exhibition will be realized over the course of the project which will give the jewellery artists who are taking part in it access to a broader public. The project began in August 2005 with a proposal addressed to creators of art jewellery all around the world to participate in a public exchange of ideas on a common theme. This exchange was based on the project’s proprietary Internet website at www.jewelleryjourney.de. All the texts, outlines of ideas, photos, suggestions, enquiries etc. on the common theme sent in by the participants by e-mail were published on this website. This web-based exchange took place from August 2005 till May 2006 and can be accessed by the public via the link diary.
