This circle of friends and sponsors of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe is named after its founder and works in partnership with the Museum.

The annual contributions and voluntary donations of the members are used to support the work of the Museum, e.g. to finance the acquisition of new objects, special exhibitions or publications. With their voluntary unpaid work, the members help with the preparations for exhibitions, in the Gerd Bucerius Library and at the visitor information desk.

As a member of the Justus Brinckmann Gesellschaft you have the opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals and participate intensively with them in the Museum’s activities. You will receive regular details of all exhibitions and events, have free entry to the Museum and all its special exhibitions all year round and are invited to the openings of all the exhibitions. You can take part in visits to the studios of craft artists as a member of a small exclusive circle and join study trips accompanied by experts from the Museum.
