One would not at first glance associate this dainty shoe with a heel of nearly 7 centimetres with men’s fashion. A broad gold border decorates the upper of the white goat leather shoe, while the sides are decorated with red narrow braiding in a linear and zigzag pattern. The ribbons at the sides were closed on the tongue either with a clasp or a decorative bow. When it came to accessories, the Rococo-gentleman of class was in no way inferior to the lady, also in terms of colour and passion for ornament.
