This glas shaped as a cylinder is particularly rare in that it combines two methods of decoration: prunts and enamel painting. The prunts, the green colouring and the elongated shape of the glass are typical of the Medieval glassworks of Northern Europe. The enamel technique was acquired from the famous Venetian glass artists. The vibrant scene represents the Biblical story of King David: he observes the young Bathseba bathing and falls in love with her. This unusual masterpiece has been recorded in the register of national cultural heritage.
